Using the RCA website

About this website

The Riverside Civic Association (RCA) is a volunteer-run neighborhood association serving Riverside Terrace and surrounding RCA boundary areas in Houston, Texas. This website shares neighborhood information and offers ways to contact RCA, participate in events, volunteer, apply for membership, and use the member portal.

These terms concern use of the website. They do not replace RCA's bylaws or change membership eligibility, dues, or voting rules.

Accounts and access

Some features require an account. Use an account you are authorized to access, keep your sign-in credentials private, and provide accurate information when using RCA's forms or member portal. Contact RCA if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Creating a website account or signing in with Google does not by itself establish paid RCA membership or voting eligibility. See the membership page for the application and payment steps.

Do not use the website to impersonate someone else, send spam, upload malicious material, or attempt to access accounts or information without authorization.

Forms, stories, and other submissions

Submit information and material that you are entitled to share. Avoid including private information about another person unless it is necessary for your request and you have permission to share it.

A submitted story or photograph is not automatically published. RCA follows up about publication and permission, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Submitting a form records a request, application, inquiry, or response. It does not by itself confirm membership, a sponsorship arrangement, or completion of a payment.

Membership and payments

Household membership involves both the membership form and payment of dues. RCA matches payments to applications. Current membership information and payment instructions appear on the membership page.

Payment links on this website take you to an external payment provider, such as PayPal. Complete payment details through that provider, not in an RCA contact form. Questions about a payment or membership record can be sent to riversidecivic@gmail.com.

Neighborhood information and external links

Meeting arrangements, event details, public services, and information from other organizations can change. Check the relevant event page or linked source for current details.

Links to government agencies, payment providers, social platforms, and other organizations take you to services operated by those organizations. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use those services.

Emergencies and city services

This website and its contact forms are not emergency services. For emergencies, call 911. For Houston city-service requests, use Houston 311. Sending a message to RCA does not submit a request to 911 or Houston 311.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains the information collected through the website, Google sign-in, the member portal, and the services that help RCA operate them. It also explains how to contact RCA about access, correction, or deletion of your information.
